Miss Kircher's Visit
We were so happy to have Miss Kircher with us today for the dress rehearsal of our Christmas program. She directed our Christmas programs for many years.
Ruth Kircher was our 1st grade teacher for over 15 years. In 2001 she was in a very bad car accident. She was then in a wheel chair with limited use of her arms and yet she continued to teach until about three years ago when she had a stroke. She and the kids seemed to have a really nice visit today. They were telling her about what they like to do and sang her a song she used to sing with them. She is unable to speak but that didn't seem to bother them. It was really nice to see them come around her wheel chair like they did when they were younger.
