Annual Fund
Gifts to the Annual Fund enable DTMCS to continue to offer a distinctly Christian education. Here, our students are taught by teachers committed to academic excellence and to the Christian faith. Incorporating these commitments into every aspect of our curriculum, provides our students with a strong biblical worldview, which will enable them to make wise choices and decisions.
As a private Christian school, DTMCS operates without financial support from local, state, and federal governments. The school relies on tuition income, fees, and generous donations from the DTMCS community. We have always tried to keep tuition rates reasonable so that Christian education would be attainable for as many families as possible. Generous donations make it possible for the school to provide financial aid to families who might otherwise not be able to afford to send their children here. This year financial aid was increased over 30%.
Each member of our Doris Todd Christian School family is asked to make a generous tax-deductible Annual Fund gift to the school. These gifts help close the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating our students.
When we put our treasure where our heart is, it is an affirmation of the significant role DTMCS plays in helping children develop a mind and heart for thinking and acting with Christ-like character.
Who participates in the Annual Fund?
Everyone in the DTMCS ‘ohana! Parents, alumni, faculty and staff, board members, grandparents, parents of alumni, former faculty and staff, neighbors and other friends of the school all come together each year to contribute.
How can I give?
Send in a check to Doris Todd Christian School or drop it off at the school. Interested in donating securities, planned giving or other ways of supporting the school? Email us at dtschool@maui.net.
What kinds of gifts do people make?
We receive gifts from $25 to more than $10,000. Everyone chooses an amount that is meaningful for them, and each gift is powerful.
