Prayer at the Pole
This is a day when students all over the country meet at the flagpole of
their school to pray. Our 8th graders led prayer.
Mission Emphasis
Week Events, October 13-16, 2009
We began our week with one of our former
students, Megan O'Malley, presenting her summer mission trip to Uganda.
Megan is currently a sophomore at Seabury Hall. We were so pleased to have
her here sharing her African mission experiences. We also hosted Noelani
Cheeley, who has been a missionary in China for 19 years. She shared her
experiences from China.
Wednesday, our students went out into the
community to clean up Paia.
Doris Todd Middle School
students provided the manpower, and the Community workday Program provided the
supplies Wednesday, October 14 as students cleaned both sides of the highway
along Baldwin Avenue from Doris Todd Christian School down to Hana Highway,
through Paia town, and across the Paia bypass. Tommy Meyer, one of our school
parents, drove behind the students filling his truck with rubbish.
